** Tia's, located on Boston's waterfront, has been a local summer favorite for the past 26 years. We are a seasonal, independently owned business, open April through October. We run a staff of over 150 during the season and can serve over 1,000 covers per day. If you love the restaurant business and feel up to the challenge of re-opening a restaurant/bar of this size yearly, and have the ability to build, motivate and manage and outstanding team, then we'd love to talk to you.

Restaurant and Bar Manager
Requirements
1 year supervisory exp. (preferably high volume)
Professional image
Great communication skills
Multi-tasker that is organized
No scheduling limitations (March through October)

Duties:
Hiring, training, motivating, scheduling staff includes: food servers, bussers, hosts, hostesses, bartenders, cocktail servers, barbacks, security, and cleaners.

Maintain required food, beverage, and payroll costs
Organize and maintain restaurant includes: daily cleaning and maintenance of equip. and restaurant

Complete knowledge of menu and inventory includes: food and beverage

Complete knowledge of cash receipts includes: daily balancing of registers, credit card machines, micros

Preferences:
Supervisory experience, tips certified, serv-safe certified

Chef/Kitchen Manager Requirements
1 year supervisory experience minimum (high volume restaurant)

No schedule limitations (March through October)
Hands-on chef - actively participate in all food producing areas
Organizational skills - high volume out of a very small kitchen!

Duties: Hire, train, schedule, and motivate staff of over 30
Includes: Prep cooks, link cooks, salad cooks, dishwashers, cleaners

Organize, clean and maintain kitchen areas
Includes: Kitchen lines, prep area, dish area, and dumpster area

Complete knowledge of - menus and inventory
Cost controls and payroll
Sanitation procedures
Maintain Tia's standards with food preparation and delivery

Preferences: Serv-sage certified, speaks Spanish
